Journeys to work Part 2

Hopefully you enjoyed our post where we shared Maria’s unusual journey to work, as promised the next in the series is Kieron.

Although not quite as perilous a journey as some, Kieron is always sure to travel in style.

Look at that happy smiling face, delighted to have matched his car to the Fowey shop paintwork. This is the car he prefers to drive, but it is generally a more practical car that is needed for the business.

Living between the Fowey and Mevagissey shops means Kieron can start his day a little later than many people as there is little to no chance of a nasty traffic jam or hold ups. He generally rushes out of the door flapping about lost keys, with a strong coffee in hand. If he needs to be in St Ives then it involves a much earlier start to avoid the queues.

Kieron is well practised at whizzing through the narrow streets, even when full with shoppers and delivery vans.

He is also famously lazy, parks in the carpark nearest to the shop and has been known to hail the Fowey Town Bus along the street to his parking space. You would never believe he has run multiple Half Marathons, yet can’t walk 500m at the end of the day.

Other transport options for Kieron involve getting David to drive him to work and drop him off outside the door, we are yet to see him cycling to work.

Next up we have asked some of the St Ives staff for a sneak peak at their journeys to work.
